Get a red marker, circle the date in your calendar. Some guys may think we were inactive or even dead  for a while since we didn’t ban a card, but the truth is: We were quite happy with the powerlevel of the latest expansions and sets and Commander sets WotC released.

 

While there might not be the too powerful stapels in them, and players might complain, the cards were good and not breaking the format, and this was good news after all.

 

Our format thrives and all kinds of gameplay and decktypes were possible: Fun, control, aggro, even combo or discard or landdestruction in a certain (a bit limited) manner.

 

As we unbanned a lot of very good and „hard“ commanders even the top notch of aggressive play (what „our“ version of cEDH might be  or comes next to that) is possible if you like to go for such a thing (though we recommend to ask your playgroup before unpacking such a deck).

 

But: weith the release of Streets of New Capenna, one card rose our awareness for an immidate banning:

 

 

As this card will offer you up to 2 free cards per turn without any drawback (compare it to Phyrexian Arena) we think it would be too good and a brainless auto include.
